ABSTRACT
Experimental investigation and analysis on the effect of the inclination of the flat channel on heat transfer in a flat channel with bottom wall heating (unstable density stratification) for turbulent mixed convection opposing flow conditions have been performed in the region of Re = 4 · 103 − 6,6 · 104, Grq = 4,4 · 107 − 7,6 · 1010.
There are regimes with a sharp change of heat transfer along the channel as in the case of stable density stratification. This increase of heat transfer is related to the separation of the flow from the channel wall.
There is a tendency that under unstable density stratification the flow separates from the wall at higher Bo2 values than under stable stratification.
