    ABSTRACT

    The thermal and hydrodynamics characteristics of plate solar collectors made in Lithuania are discussed. The main efficiency characteristics of the collectors are determined.
    They are important for designers while calculating the instantaneous and permanent heat produce and for the area of solar collectors. The experimental results agreed with ISO standards and a closed test loop was designed and made. To calculate the thermal and hydrodynamic characteristics, the area of plate collectors, wind velocity, the ambient, inlet and outlet temperatures of heat transfer were estimated. The output of the collectors, their effective thermal capacity, heat losses and pressure drops of flow were calculated.
