    ABSTRACT

Oscillations of the total discharge current registered in the electric circuit of the stationary plasma Hall thruster SPT-100ML are studied with the use of linear and nonlinear methods of time series analysis. The same character of the oscillations can be obtained when autoregressive model is applied - the prediction errors as discriminating statistics are used. Hence, the linear process with random noise seems to be sufficient to describe the observed oscillations.
