Zebrowski ABSTRACT This paper presents results of experimental research on the emission of charged particles (mainly deuterons and electrons) from the PF-360 plasma-focus facility operated within the energy range of 100 - 130 kJ. The fast deuteron beams were measured along the z-axis, and the fast electron beams in the upstream direction. The results obtained with different diagnostic techniques are described and discussed. The basic characteristics of the emitted ion- and electron-beams are compared with results of the other PF experiments. In conclusions it is noted that the intense ion beams, as well as fast electron beams from PF shots, can be used for basic research and application-oriented studies, e.g., material engineering tests.
