Khlustova ABSTRACT The plasma solution interface plays the main role in the formation of plasma properties in plasma-solution systems. The atmospheric pressure glow discharge with liquid electrolyte cathode is one of the best-known plasma-solution systems. The ion bombardment results in the solution components transfer into plasma zone. The transfer process influences on glow discharge electrical and spectral properties. On the basis of the experimental data, we have determined electron emission coefficients and transfer coefficients for solution components. It was suggested the existence of the mechanism of excitation of metal atoms connected with their transfer under ion bombardment action.
