Duquennoy ABSTRACT The proposed test case gives one-dimensional analytical solutions, which may be compared to numerical results and may test the ability of a numerical method to account for interfacial liquid-vapor phase change dominated by thermal effects. Two different solutions are provided. The first one is a steady state solution in the reference frame linked to the interface, whereas the second one corresponds to an unsteady problem for which one of the phases is initially superheated or subcooled.
