    ABSTRACT

The following investigation concerns the bending of orthotropic and isotropic cantilever plates of varying thickness, clamped along a longer edge and subjected to an action of discontinuous loading, represented by systems of equal and equidistant concentrated forces and the loads distributed along the lengths of segments and over surfaces of equal and equidistant rectangulars. All the solutions are given in closed form and can serve as standards for numerical computation.
