    ABSTRACT

The plane strain problem of determining the dynamic stress intensity factors for a pair of equal collinear moving Griffith cracks situated at the interface of two dissimilar orthotropic fixed layers is considered. The mixed boundary value problem is reduced to solving a pair of simultaneous singular integral equations which have finally been solved numerically by using Jacobi polynomials. In some particular cases of the problem graphical plots of the stress intensity factors and of some crack length independent parameters are presented.
