ABSTRACT
The effect of low-intensity laser light on basidiospore germination and growth rate of monokaryotic isolates of the higher Basidiomycetes mushroom Hericium erinaceus was studied. The stimulating effect of laser radiation at doses of 45230 mJ/sm2 on these processes is proved. The percentage of germinated spores in the strains investigated increased 10105 times, and the speed of monokaryon growth 2 times. The laser illustration was more effective when the initial percentage of basidiospore germination was lower.
