ABSTRACT
The International Conference "Perspectives of Medicinal Mushrooms in Health Care and Nutrition in the 21st Century" was held in Kiev (Ukraine) September 12-14,2001. Three hundred and forty-eight scientists from 38 countries presented their results in the abstracts published in IJMM.no. 2-3, 2001.
The present issue of IJMM is special. It represents the full texts of the Honorary Lectures (given by T. Ikekawa, Japan; S. T. Chang, Hong Kong; D. L. Hawksworth, Spain; and D. J. L. D.
