ABSTRACT
The influence of helium–neon and argon laser light on the mycelial growth and fruit-body production of culinary–medicinal mushrooms Lentinus edodes, Pleurotus ostreatus, and Hericium erinaceus were investigated. It is shown that irradiation by red and green light stimulates vegetative mycelium growth on different substrates and shortens the substrates' colonization and fructification. The increased fruit-body yield in irradiated cultures reached 36–51%.
