Pop ABSTRACT A theoretical study of the fully developed mixed convection flow of a micropolar fluid in a parallel plate vertical channel with an asymmetric wall temperature distribution has been presented. Solutions of the governing equations are obtained both analytically and numerically and it is shown that they are in excellent agreement. A reverse flow is observed in some cases and is based on the analytical solution. Criteria for the occurrence of this flow are presented.
