Diatom flora of the Iyidere Stream was studied at different stations of the stream. A total of 101 diatom taxa were recorded in the study area. Diatoms of different stations in the stream were generally similar. In diatom flora, the most diverse genus was Navicula (18 species), followed by the genera Cymbella (14), Pinnularia (9), Surirella (7), Nitzschia (6), Gomphonema (5). Some genera were represented by only one species. The most frequent diatoms were Fragilaria arcus, Cocconeis placentula, and Navicula rhynchocephala.
