Results of the influence of anthropic contamination on the Caspian vegetation of macrophytes are discussed in the paper. Changes in the species composition, taxonomic structure, and also in the distribution of macrophytes, were demonstrated, Relationship between the number of species of Rhodophyta and the number of species of Chlorophyta was used for evaluating the state of communities of seaweeds.
