On the basis of the new data on morphology of fossil diatoms from Paleogene deposits of Ukraine, the new species Pseudohyalodiscus entis Olsht. sp. nov., a new variety within the species Porodiscus nitidus Grev., and a rare species of Actinoptychus sp. are described. Diagnoses of species Monopsia mammosa Gr. et St., Peponia barbadensis Grev., and Lisitzinia inconspicua (Grev.) Gles. are updated and specified in detail.
