The paper presents results of studies of Cyanoprocaryota (Cyanophyta) in 20 continental water bodies of the central part of Israel. A list of 87 species belonging to Chroococcales, Oscillatoriales and Nostocales is given. Eighteen species (23 forms) are first recorded in Israel.
