The paper deals with the results of long-term studies of the limnetic algoflora on the island of Big Pelis (the Sea of Japan). A list of 53 taxa of algae from 8 divisions new for limnetic algoflora of the Russian Far East is presented. It involves Cyanophyta - 3, Euglenophyta - 4, Dinophyta - 2, Cryptophyta - 4, Raphydophyta - 1, Chrysophyta - 1, Xanthophyta - 31, Chlorophyta - 7.
