    ABSTRACT

Prior to the present work, solutions based on a recent theoretical model by the authors are for the case where the vapour is saturated at entry to the channel and the channel wall temperature is uniform. In the present paper calculations are reported for condensation of 134a in a rectangular channel using inlet conditions and wall temperatures from experimental data. Calculated and measured heat-transfer results are compared.
