    ABSTRACT

    The Monte-Carlo method is applied and coupled with geometry optical properties to predict radiation characteristic of solar collector system. The effects of surface slope error and tracking error are studied and corresponding probability models are introduced in this paper. Direction characteristic of focal flux and flux distribution of cavity absorber are obtained in view of ideal and unideal paraboloidal dish concentrator. Five sampling positions in the focal region are employed to analyse spatial characteristics of flux distribution. The calculation results present a reference for the design and assemblage of solar collector system.
