    ABSTRACT

In the established new pulsating heat pipe model of high heat flux, the liquid volume flow rate, vapor density, ratio of latent heat transfer to the total are coupled by the balance of the driving force, due to the density and temperature differences, and the resistances, owing to the friction and capillary hysteresis. The calculation results show that, the flow velocity, the ratio of latent heat transfer to the total are affected by the temperature, capillary inner diameter, capillary length and power. Due to the larger working fluid flow rate and the liquid heat capacity, the corresponding small change of temperature difference can effectively adjust the ratio of latent heat transfer to the total. The sensible heat transfer is the dominant contributor for the total transferred power.
