ABSTRACT
It is shown that improvement of heat exchange intensity is possible to achieve using surfaces with partially cutting plate fins. Eight types of fin surfaces with cuts have been investigated experimentally. These surfaces were differentiated by fin cutting depth and by the angle of fin turning to the direction of a stream. The method of convective heat transfer calculation for above mentioned surfaces at low velocity flow has been developed as well.
