    ABSTRACT

When a heated duct is one of removal ducts in distribute header construction specific conditions of heat transfer behavior are initiated because of header flow (transit flow) and removal duct flow interaction. Important feature of investigations was usage both smooth duct and ducts with heat transfer enhancement. So interaction between transit flow turbulence and self turbulence of the duct can be studied more carefully. As a result of average perimeter heat transfer investigations evolution along the duct for various situations were obtained. When wide sides of the duct were enhanced by special relief a scale of transit flow effect was decreased. The greater was surface enhancement the less was transit flow effect. 5 variants of enhancing relief was studied.
