Abstract
Coal combustion is the main source of energy and also the main cause of atmospheric pollution in China. Measures are taken and efforts are spent to curb the pollutant emission from coal combustion. In this paper, the achievements in the reduction of pollutant emission from coal combustion by developing new method of coal combustion, and new method of desulfurization are introduced.
