Abstract

District heating networks are investigated as a complex engineering object, consisting from various heat exchangers connected by insulated from ambient pipelines with complex mass, momentum and energy transfer processes occurring inside them. All these processes are aimed at providing a service − transferring heat from generating sources to consumers. In return, during a process of providing of such a service (product) products from other activity areas are used, property of networks is wearing down, labor is used to maintain the processes and equipment and value added is created.
