Abstract

This paper proposes a model for a Finite Production Scheduling System based on fuzzy logic. Initially, some Production Planning and Scheduling are discussed, followed by a description of the production environment where the system was implemented and tested. Later the proposed model is presented, characterizing the backward and forward simulation processes, the used criterion for decision making and the fuzzy knowledge base. Finally the comparison test parameters are presented, the results are shown and the conclusions discussed.
