In this paper, a theoretical and experimental study about fluid dynamic and heat transfer mechanism in the new type energy- saving heat exchanger with longitudinal- flow of shellside fluid are carried out and the corresponding computer program is made. The study results show that the new type energy−saving heat exchanger with longitudinal−flow of shellside fluid has characteristics of fluid dynamic and heat transfer superior to the general tubular heat exchanger with segmental baffle.
