This movie shows that at the destruction of the ampoule (and the associated vibration), water transitions from a liquid to a water-crystalline mixture. On impact, solid supercooled droplets turn into the water-crystalline mixture during the heat exchange with the streamlined body, and the aerosol flow may lead to icing of the streamlined body.
