This movie shows the crystallization of supercooled water in a vessel after mechanical action. The position of the interphase boundary is controlled by changing the phase transparency on both sides of its border, and also by using the thermovisor such that the temperature at the interface is changed abruptly. The frame rate of the thermovisor is 60 frames/s.
