Abstrakt

In the case of lathe chatter on a round bar in the external cutting by right handy blade bit with side cutting edge angle, the remained roughness on work piece before one rotation effects on the cutting after one rotation of work piece. It is necessary to consider overlap factor in the effect on each cutting. In before and after one rotation of work piece, the bowstring length between the extremity in bottom and intersection of blade part becomes the cutting width. The bowstring length is settled by the shape of blade part concerned with depth of cut and feed. The bowstring length in the direction of vibration becomes an effective cutting width. The overlap factor is obtained by the ratio of before to after one rotation of work piece for effective cutting width. The direcction of vibration is composed by the resultant between normal force and axial force upon the plane in these force. The direction of vibration is sloped at the angle of same degrees facing axial force component. This study keeps the angle of inclination facing axial force under the cutting constant. The chatter vibration breaks out after one rotation from normal cutting оГ work piece. The phase difference between after one rotation and after two rotation of work piece breaks out. From this standpoint, the analysis of overlap factor advances with the lip part of the cutting of right handy blade bit as follows:
(1) side cutting edge and. nose part
(2) nose part
