It has been recognized that droplets ejection due to floating gas bubble bursting on liquid surface was detrimental. However, in a specific liquid atomization, it may be of use as a process of droplets forming for particle production. To obtain basic knowledge for its beneficial application, the droplets ejection was observed in detail using high-speed video, and effects of initial bubble size and liquid properties upon the characteristics of droplets ejection were investigated by the experiments employing ordinary liquids. Based on these results, production of small particles from melt of paraffin applying the droplets ejection was attempted. It was found that uniform small spherical particles could be easily produced from melt of material by the beneficial application of the droplets ejection.
