RENSSELEAR'S ELECTRONICS AGILE MANUFACTURING RESEARCH INSTITUTE: PROGRESS AND RESULTS

The Electronics Agile Manufacturing Research Institute (EAMRI) was initiated in April, 1994 through a competitive proposal process at NSF. The EAMRI focus is on integrated information infrastructure for data exchange and information communication. It has been responsible for a number of demonstrations of technologies in collaboration with several industries. The EAMRI progress and results in this area are reviewed in this paper.
