Abstrakt

This paper presents a model of analysis of newly developed melting-freezing rotating device, used to transfer heat from a heat source to a heat sink. The device consists of two concentric cylinders with a phase change material filled between them. An analysis for design of the cyclic melting and freezing device is conducted. Based on the results of the analysis, the design parameters of the device are obtained. The device possesses a good capability of maintaining the design condition when the heat supplied from the heat source changes.
