In this paper the technique for production of calcia and alumina doped lanthanum chromite powders using nitrate solution injection plasma synthesis in triple torch reactor was examined. The oxide powder synthesized were characterised with sedimentation analysis, thermogravimetry, XRD, EDXRA, TEM, microprobe analysis. Resulting La-Ca-Al-Cr-O-ceramics in p-type semiconducting with electrical conductivity near 2000 Ohm−1 m−1 at 1100 K and contains the orthorhombic perovskite phase.
