Abstrakt
To provide useful data for the improvement of subchannel analysis, experiments were performed for two-phase flow of air-water mixtures through a multiple channels. Four test channels were used. Three channels consisted of two interconnected subchannels, while the fourth consisted of three interconnected subchannels. In each channel, the cross-sectional area of the respective subchannels was different. Data on the fully developed flow distributions to each subchannel are presented. Based on the data, a practical method to calculate the flow distributions in a multiple channel is proposed. Comparisons are then made between the predictions and the available data.
