Abstrakt

Based on theoretical computation, the droplet dynamics has been analyzed by investigating droplet relative velocity, drag and lift coefficients, and droplet impaction angle. An isolated single droplet moving in the swirl flow has been photographed and compared with theoretical results. The droplet moving behavior on a rotating plate can be explained as a resultant reciprocal action between droplet motion and gas velocity intensity. The droplet contact dynamics has been experimentally observed and the criterion valve of the rotating speeds, where the droplet can not directly contact with the surface has been obtained. The theoretical results are found to be in good agreement with the experimental results.
