Abstrakt

In this paper, a laminar transport model for spraying droplets in field condition was developed and the sensitivity analysis on the model was conducted. A modem statistical curve fitting method so called ACE was employed for the sensitivity analysis. The optimum droplet size sprayed by a boom sprayer in field condition was determined through the sensitivity analysis. Also, most influencing operational parameters on drift were selected. According to the result, most influencing parameters on drift were initial droplet size and nozzle height. Initial droplet velocity, angle of droplets in a spray fan, wind velocity, etc had mere significant effect on evaporation of droplets. Interesting result was that droplet above 150 μm and below 150 μm revealed quite different evaporation rate.
