Abstrakt

The article presents a methodology for the measurement of temperature on the liquid nickel surface in the conditions of melting in the plasma furnace using an optical pyrometer. The effect of plasma radiation on the values of measured temperature has been discussed. The anode spot temperature has been found to fall within the range from 1700 to 2000°C in the experimental conditions.
