This paper deals with the experience of long standing mastering of the new Low-Temperature Vortex-type (LTV) technology for low-quality fuel combustion. The problems of power usage of regional low-quality fuel are considered. Peculiarities of the LTV technology and fuel preparation system schemes are noted. Characteristics of the fuel, which have been tested with LTV technology are given in the paper. Some practical results of applying LTV technology for peat, brown coal, oil-shale and flammable industrial wastes combustion are presented.
