Abstrakt
In the work semiempirical model of an exchange of a mass and a heat transfer during process of special steels melting in the plasma furnace has been presented. Results of experimental investigation have verified accepted assumptions of the model. Obtained relationships have allowed for determination of a mass transport velocity in the metal bath and distribution of temperature fields in the working space of the plasma furnace.
