Abstrakt
A numerical simulation of an argon-hydrogen plasma jet in cold air at atmospheric pressure has been performed. The mathematical model was based on the solution of a 3-dimensional form of the Navier-Stokes, energy and continuity equations for the gas phase, and the dynamics of particles in the flow. The standard k-ε turbulent model with the correction of Launder and Sharma for low Reynolds numbers was used in the investigation.
