Abstrakt

The subcooled flow boiling CHF experiment is carried out in tubes of D = 2.32, 5.17, 8.05, 10 and 16 mm. 349 data are obtained, covering the range of the pressure 0.1 - 1.92 MPa, velocity 1.47 - 23.3 m/s, exit subcooling 3.7 - 108.7 K and the critical heat flux 4.2 - 38.3 MW/m2 Based on the data, some typical correlations, models and the look-up table are evaluated.
