Abstrakt

The enthalpy and the heat capacity at constant pressure of LaCl₃+NaCl and LaCl₃+KCl melts have been measured with Calvet-type microcalorimeter as a function of temperature and concentration. The isohoric heat capacity was calculated using the ultrasonic velocity data. The results obtained are interpreted in terms of the complexing of the melts.
