Abstract
This paper deals with the principles of desulphurization of spurting limestone powder into furnace. Based on these principles, the experimental tests are carried out in a 10 t/h corner-tube boiler, and a wet precipitator is located at downstream of the boiler. The experimental results show that about 33% of amount of sulphur contained in flue gas can be removed by using the method of spurting limestone powder into furnace, and the efficiency of desulphurization can be arrived at about 60%, if the method of spurting limestone powder is incorporated with the wet precipitator. So it is valuable to recommend this method used widely in industry.
