CORRELATIONS BETWEEN NITROGEN EMISSIONS AND PROCESS PARAMETERS IN CIRCULATING FLUIDISED BED BOILERS
DOI: 10.1615/BHT4.620
pages 557-564
Abstract
The main objective of this paper is to describe the formation of nitrous oxide and nitric oxide in the circulating fluidised bed boilers in mathematical expressions by means of fuel properties and combustion process parameters, like temperature, excess air level and sorbent feed rate. The data used for the correlations arc replotted from articles describing the experiments on different scale circulating fluidised bed boilers with the installed capacity 12MW, 40 MW and 165 MW.
