This paper presents a theoretical analysis and experimental results of condensation heat transfer in the vertical two-phase closed thermosyphon. The effects of the relative importance of the two kinds of shear stresses and the effects of the pressure are considered in the theoretical prediction. The experiments are carried out at different filling ratios and pressures. The theoretical calculations agree with the experimental results in a certain range of temperature differences.
