Electrical conductivity of molten system KCl-CeCl3-Ce
Abstract
The electrical conductivity of CeCl3-Ce and CeCl3-KCl(25 mol.%)-Ce systems has been measured as a function of Ce concentration and temperature. The cell of Eager's type with molybdenum crucible and two parallel electrodes was used. The electrical conductivity of system under investigation was found to decrease greatly with potassium chloride addition.
