Abstract
The temperature of electrons and radiation of the induction discharge of a transformer type have been experimentally studied. Radiation of the induction discharge and plasma
temperature have been studied under conditions of discharge interaction with the external longitudinal magnetic field. It was shown that with an increase in the magnetic field strength, the discharge was contracted, and the electron temperature increased. Simultaneously, the discharge radiation decreased, but the electric energy consumed by the discharge increased.
