DOI: 10.1615/ICPWS-1994.710
pages 558-564

Abstract

The paper presents new experimental measurements of the PVTx properties of the binary system CO2-H2O under supercritical conditions at 623 K, 653 K, 663 K and 673 K from 1 MPa to 40 MPa for concentrations from 0.2 to 0.6 mole fraction of CO2. The PVTx data obtained for CO2-H2O were compared with data of other authors with satisfactory agreement. The uncertainties in temperature, pressure, density, and concentration are ±0.01 K, ±0.15%, ±0.15% and ±0.002 mole fraction, respectively.
