This movie shows the recording of the burnout (boiling crisis) evolution in the water saturated with a gas. It can be seen that under large gas bubbles, a superheated zone leading to the surface melting in this place is formed. Weak heat inertia of the thin-walled capillary assists in the accelerated development of this process.
