Descripción

In view of the growing importance of energy and environment problem encountered in the development and reform of large and medium cities in the world, many experts and scholars in China and abroad were aware of need to organize a conference on energy and environment to provide a forum for exchanges of scientific and technological information in the various disciplines in and related to the energy and environment fields.
The present conference proceedings contains 119 technical papers in which, except those presented by Chinese authors, 46 papers are contributions from the United States, Japan, Germany, France, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Russia, The Netherlands, Korea, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. To facilitate reading, the papers are classified under 7 topics, among them the energy policy, economics and planning are the most attractive topics in the conference. The participants also exchange with great interest the information on the topics of energy conservation, pollutant emission and control, waste management and environmental protection.
